Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Retail Operations Assistant to support daily store operations at anantam. This role includes handling stock management, barcoding, Steaming/Ironing garments, and assisting both Fashion Consultants (FCs) and customers in trial rooms. The ideal candidate should be organized, well-groomed, and customer-oriented.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, unpack, and organize merchandise in the stockroom.
• Inspecting products for damage or discrepancies and ensuring items meet standards
• Counting, verifying, and recording the quantities of items on hand.
• Apply barcodes accurately and ensure all products are properly labeled.
• Organizing products on shelves in store, managing the flow of goods, and ensuring they are readily available.
• Steaming/Ironing garments to ensure they are neat and presentable for display or trials.
• Refill shelves and maintain stock levels across the store.
• Keep the stockroom and display areas clean and well-organized.
• Assist Fashion Consultants (FCs) in locating and replenishing stock.
• Support customers in trial rooms, including handing over different sizes or styles.
• Participate in inventory checks and stock audits.
• Report any stock discrepancies or damaged items to the Supervisor/Manager.

Requirements:

• Graduate qualification preferred.
• 6 months to 3 years of experience in retail or stock handling.
• Familiarity with barcoding systems and basic garment care.
• Comfortable using ironing equipment (steam or dry).
• Physically fit and able to handle movement/lifting of stock.
• Good communication skills with a customer-friendly approach.
• Punctual, dependable, and a good team player.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹216,000.00 - ₹264,000.00 per year
