Retail Associate/Cashier/Customer Service

Job Overview
One Spot Hawaii is a new shopping complex in Pepe'ekeo, Hawai'i offering True Value hardware, groceries, prepared grab-and-go hot and chill foods and a Hawaii Gas dispensary. We are seeking a Retail Cashier Customer Service Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage transactions, maintain store inventory, organization and appearance, and provide excellent customer service. This position requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a passion for helping customers.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash registers and cash transactions accurately. Process returns and exchanges in accordance with store policies.
• Receive and merchandise inventory. Continuously stock and organize shelves and cold fixtures.
• Maintain overall appearance, safety, organization and cleanliness of the sales floor.
• Provide customers product information, promote sales and offer a positive shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members, work together, share ideas, and pool resources to achieve store goals and maintain an upbeat work environment.
• Follow company's attendance policy with punctuality and reliability.

Skills

• Math skills for accurate transaction processing, including retail math proficiency.
• Experience in retail sales, operating cash registers and handling cash transactions.
• Familiarity with grocery store operations preferred.
• Familiarity with hardware store operations preferred.
• Strong communication skills along with customer engagement techniques to increase sales opportunities.
• Demonstrate positivity and support towards fellow team members to foster a positive workplace.
