The Retail Agent is a multi-skilled team member responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience across all Miraval retail outlets. This position combines guest-facing sales responsibilities with inventory, warehouse, administrative, and merchandising duties. The Retail Agent supports every aspect of the retail operation from assisting guests on the sales floor to receiving, processing, and stocking merchandise ensuring seamless daily operations and a consistently high level of service and presentation.

Guest Service & Sales
- Welcome, engage, and assist guests upon entering the boutique.
- Assess guest needs and make knowledgeable product recommendations.
- Actively engage guests in conversation to support product education and selection.
- Use upselling and suggestive selling techniques to achieve sales goals.
- Maintain a positive, professional demeanor that aligns with Miraval’s standards.
- Communicate current promotions, new products, and special offers.
- Act as the final point of contact ensuring guest satisfaction and comfort.
Point-of-Sale Operations
- Operate a computerized POS system including processing cash, credit card, and room charge transactions.
- Complete returns, exchanges, and voids accurately.
- Manage and reconcile daily sales reports.
- Execute phone, online, and special orders.
Merchandising & Store Presentation
- Maintain store appearance to the highest visual presentation standards.
- Restock sales floors throughout the day and during opening/closing shifts.
- Organize stockrooms and ensure accurate merchandise labeling and pricing.
- Assist in merchandising displays and product placement to optimize sales.
Inventory, Receiving & Warehouse Support
- Receive, check in, price, and process all retail merchandise.
- Enter merchandise data into the inventory system.
- Input future orders as directed and maintain accuracy in the Retail Checkbook.
- Handle returns of damaged items and coordinate backorders and credits.
- Organize and maintain the retail warehouse, including recycling and stocking packing materials.
- Deliver “ready” stock to all retail outlets via golf cart.
- Ensure retail outlets are consistently stocked with supplies and inventory.
- Lead or assist with physical inventory counts and regular audits.
- Support retail leadership with inventory accuracy and administrative inventory tasks.
Teamwork & Professional Conduct
- Attend staff meetings and mandatory trainings.
- Support Retail Manager and Retail Supervisor with operational priorities and assigned projects.
- Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and a positive work environment.
- Act as back-up Retail Sales Associate when needed.
