Retail Business Process Officer

  1. Job Purpose

  • Research, Analyses, and recommend improvements to retail business processes to improve the overall performance.
  • Structure a large amount of information within a process framework.
  • Work with business teams and the IT Department to find the best way to design new processes and solve process-related problems.

  1. Key Accountabilities
  • Analyze business processes and workflows to find out how they can be improved or automated.
  • Document procedures and present new process designs to stakeholders for discussion.
  • Monitor, measure and provide feedback on process performance.
  • Analyze procedures, processes, and tasks related to project scope to reduce redundancy, build efficiency, and increase productivity while ensuring compliance with Sharjah Coop policies.
  • Support implementation of Strategy Management & the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) across Retail departments.
  • Assist the Business Process Head in following up with business lines to implement their strategic management processes.
  • Assist Departments with developing strategy maps, objectives, KPIs, targets and initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively across all organization departments to help improve business process management.
  • Support the execution and project/program management of the whole strategy initiative portfolio.
  • Facilitate the design and implementation of new/improved process models and organizational structures.
  • Prepare reports which provide well-informed information, problems/potential problems identified, short- and long-term financial implications, opportunities, results of efforts, risks, and recommendations for corrections.
  • Assist the team members in any other tasks that may arise as required.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the line manager.
