Role Overview:

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Retail Fit-out Engineer to oversee and manage retail interior projects from design review through execution and handover. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating design, construction, and finishing works to ensure high-quality delivery aligned with brand standards, timelines, and budget requirements. This role requires a strong background in retail or commercial fit-out projects, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage fit-out works for retail and commercial spaces from start to completion.
• Review design drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals for compliance with project specifications and brand requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor progress on-site, ensuring quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to project schedules.
• Conduct site inspections , resolve technical issues, and report regularly on work status and project risks.
• Manage procurement schedules for finishes, fixtures, and materials to ensure timely delivery.
• Support cost control and value engineering efforts without compromising design integrity.
• Ensure proper handover documentation, as-built drawings, and close-out reports are completed.
• Liaise with the client’s design and operations teams to align construction with brand identity and standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil, or Interior Engineering .
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in retail fit-out or interior construction projects.
• Proven experience in managing multiple retail outlets or commercial fit-out works simultaneously.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, and Microsoft Office ; experience with Revit or BIM tools is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of finishes, materials, MEP coordination, and shop drawing review .
• Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage fast-track projects.
• Bilingual (Arabic and English) preferred.
