As part of the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Retail Integration Support team, this role supports DLA’s J34 Retail and Strategic Management mission within DLA Logistics Operations (J3). The work contributes to the coordination and strategic management of end-to-end supply chain initiatives that support warfighter readiness across the defense enterprise.

What You Will Do
  • Work closely with client stakeholders on a day-to-day basis to support program management activities and process improvement initiatives supporting DLA retail operations.
  • Support initiatives focused on optimizing retail supply support at defense industrial sites and across strategic DLA programs.
  • Track implementation plans and report progress on initiatives affecting DLA J3 and J34 operations.
  • Conduct periodic data analysis to support program monitoring and operational decision-making.
  • Coordinate status updates across the DLA enterprise and support implementation activities associated with program changes.
  • Support meeting coordination including scheduling, agenda preparation, meeting minutes, distribution of summaries, and tracking of action items.
  • Prepare and submit required contract deliverables in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
  • Perform assigned tasks using proven and repeatable processes.
  • Support additional activities as assigned by the Program Manager.
What We Are Looking For
Required:
  • Five or more years of relevant professional experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in business, logistics, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting strategic communications including technical writing and presentation development.
  • Strong interpersonal and coordination skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Desired:
  • Familiarity with Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) operations and supply chain processes.
Clearance and Eligibility
  • Active DoD Secret clearance required for this trusted role.
  • Restricted to U.S. persons as defined under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
Location
  • Remote.
  • May be required to attend senior leader meetings at DLA Headquarters, Fort Belvoir, Virginia.
  • Occasional travel may be required in support of contract activities.
