Retail IT Associate - Tomball

This is an on-site position in Tomball, Tx with virtual on-call requirements.

We’re seeking a talented IT professional who thrives on taking ownership and delivering exceptional service to support our stores within a 1-2 store region. The stores are conveniently located within walking distance of each other.

As the IT Support Specialist, you'll deploy and maintain the necessary hardware and software, resolve technical issues, and collaborate with other IT managers to implement innovative solutions across all Pohanka locations. Required qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree
  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident; we do not sponsor work visas

Desired qualifications and skills

Experience in the following areas

  • At least 2 years of IT experience in a multi-site, retail environment; dealer experience preferred
  • Min 2 years of IT customer service or support experience.
  • Support a team of users and variety of hardware and software equipment.
  • Ticketing system experience (Zendesk, Salesforce, Freshdesk, SysAid).
  • Diagnoses and resolves moderate end-user hardware/software problems including remote access software.
  • Software Administrative - experience deploying, implementing and managing software pacakges
  • Microsoft Azure/Intune/Entra administrator (Certification desired)
  • Dealer specific software, such as DMS and CRM tools
  • Hardware Administrative - experience deploying, implementing and managing
  • Desktops, Laptops, small servers,
  • Network printer systems
  • Mobile devices
  • Application specific devices (ie., scanners, phones, etc.)
  • Network - Experience deploying, implementing and managing:
  • VPN & VPN tunnels
  • Routers
  • Repeaters for internal users and external customers
  • Cisco device experience preferred
  • System & Security - experience monitoring and maintaining overall systems security and health, deploying patches, disaster recovery backups, performing tactical systems support and resolution.
  • Experience working with vendors, including resolving issues including contacting and assisting vendors.
  • Experience creating, updating and reviewing documentation.
  • Experience configuration of management services.
  • Experience working with leadership to establish project priorities, timelines, and implementation.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
