The Role
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Retail Merchandiser to drive product planning, allocation, and replenishment decisions across our retail network. The ideal candidate will combine strong market insight with commercial acumen to manage the full product lifecycle—from product selection to in-store execution—ensuring optimal availability, profitability, and sell-through. Key Responsibilities • Select and plan product assortments based on market trends, seasonality, and regional customer preferences • Analyse sales performance by SKU, category, and store, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders • Manage inventory levels to minimize stock-outs, overstocking, and slow-moving stock • Support store merchandising standards and ensure planogram compliance across locations • Assist in pricing analysis, margin monitoring, and profitability tracking • Coordinate closely with Marketing teams on promotional planning, markdown strategies, and campaign execution • Monitor sell-through and stock ageing, and recommend corrective actions where required • Prepare regular performance reports and presentations for management review
Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis) • Ability to create clear, impactful PowerPoint presentations for business reviews • Sound understanding of retail merchandising principles and inventory management • Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and manage multiple priorities Preferred Experience • Prior experience in retail merchandising, planning, or a related commercial role • Exposure to multi-store or regional retail operations is an advantage • We will also consider the profiles from India who have at least 2 years of experience in retail.
