Overview:

Reporting to the VP. Retail, the Retail of Operations Manager will contribute to increasing store development by ensuring that all Front of House and Back of House processes are aligned with Givenchy’s requirements. They will be in charge of measuring and challenging the team around Commercial KPI’s in coordination with the VP, Retail.

The Retail Operations Manager will act as a support function and will be a strong partner of the VP, Retail, Regional Leaders, supporting the coordination and management of business operational activities, liaising with the central departments and regional HQ departments.

Essential Duties & Job Responsibilities

Store Policies & Procedures

  • Assess current policies and procedures, evaluate in terms of best practice and document.
  • Work with stores and corporate divisions to use available resources to efficient cost-effective manner supporting all store business requirements.
  • Measure effectiveness of new procedures and provide recommendations as needed.

Inventory Control

  • Support stores with inventory training, scheduling and coordination of semi-annual inventories.
  • Drive stores to maintain all company defined Inventory Control standards.
  • Review all reporting/metrics for division and address areas where substandard.

Loss Prevention

  • Work with key partners on all core Loss Prevention programs in store, i.e. cycle counts, store stock room standards, internal/external loss, audits, cash/asset handling, etc.
  • Provide training to store teams on Loss Prevention on all related procedures.
  • Monitor and provide assistance in implementation of Givenchy-specific systems and platforms

It/pos

  • Work with designated IT team on management of all store operating systems to include but not limited to POS, back office, telecommunications, music, etc.
  • Learn systems operations and assist in training of store teams.

Logistics

  • Work closely with logistics on all store related issues related to movement of merchandise.
  • Address any concerns or issues with key team members.

Finance

  • Work closely with VP of Retail, Area Managers & Finance on developing key standards which support a profitable business in all categories of P&L Operations.
  • Define and monitor all sales related transaction activities.
  • Participate where needed in preparation and review of store budgets.

Facilities & Maintenance

  • Oversee current all existing and recurring store maintenance requirements.
  • Work with Boutique Management and Store Planning on all facility related repairs and improvements
  • Where applicable, work with third parties to assess and monitor quality and execution of work.

Reporting & Communications

  • Assess current structure of boutique reporting and advise on modifications and improvements for store efficiency and expanded client service focus.
  • Provide ongoing communication to stores and stakeholder departments on updates on all changes.

Other Projects

  • Management and development of West Coast Operations Coordinator
  • Support of Operations Supervisors in boutiques as needed
  • Store Openings
  • Family/Sample Sales

Profile

Profile: Education: Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Experience Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a similar position Must have a strong background in Retail Operations Technical & Leadership Skills: Strong analytical skills and knowledge of Excel (formulas, Pivot tables, Macros…) Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools (Salesforce, Cognos, Qliksense or similar) Personal & Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work in a very high-paced environment Highly organized and proactive Result-oriented and highly motivated Strong communication skills to convey key messages Strong interpersonal skills to work with different departments

The compensation for this position ranges from $100,000- $120,000(annually). The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidate’s relevant skills and experience. In addition, there is a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discount/perks, and a retirement plan with employer contribution
