Retail Recruiter 3

Overview

The Recruiter is responsible for all steps associated with the identification and placement of full or part time retail employees.

What You’ll Do

As a Recruiter, you’ll play a key role in building strong, diverse talent pipelines for a variety of positions. Your day-to-day work will include:

Expanding candidate reach by posting job requirements across online platforms and developing new sourcing channels.
Using creative recruiting strategies to attract quality full-time and part-time candidates.
Conducting phone screens to assess candidate viability and alignment with open roles.
Networking actively—attending career fairs, meeting with professional associations, engaging technical schools, universities, and outplacement groups.
Screening applicants to ensure they meet role qualifications and company standards.
Presenting job opportunities to candidates and negotiating competitive hourly wages.
Maintaining organized records through our online systems and any required recruiter metrics.
Preparing personnel action forms for our recruiting support team.
Entering and managing open requisitions within recruiting systems.
Mentoring peers, sharing best practices, and answering recruiter-related questions.
Using advanced Boolean search techniques to proactively source talent.
Planning, coordinating, and participating in recruiting events and hiring initiatives.
Supporting special projects as assigned by the Director of Talent Acquisition.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience: rior internship/work experience in sales, marketing or customer service environment is preferred. 2+ years’ experience in high volume recruiting, including heavy sourcing abilities


Other Functions: PC literate in Windows environment including, MS Word and Excel, and Internet; Excellent written and oral communication skills; Strong problem solving abilities

Supervisory Responsibility: None.


Working Conditions: Office Environment.

Language Skills: English is the primary language skill; however, bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
