Retail Sales and Marketing

Job Description

Retail Marketing and Operations Manager who can both drive in-store sales and execute marketing that brings customers into the store.

This is a hands-on role. You will work on the sales floor, lead the team, and execute weekly marketing efforts including email, content, and events. Oversee Assistant Manager and retail team.

If you like selling, moving fast, and directly impacting revenue, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

Retail Sales & Store Operations

  • Work scheduled shifts on the sales floor
  • Drive daily sales performance and hit store revenue goals
  • Coach team on selling (conversion, UPT, AOV)
  • Accountable to sucessfull visual merchandising and store standards
  • Manage assistant managers and day-to-day operations

Marketing & Traffic Generation

  • Execute weekly email and SMS campaigns (Klaviyo)
  • Post daily Instagram Stories focused on driving store traffic
  • Plan and execute in-store events and pop-ups
  • Coordinate local partnerships and community outreach
  • Assist with press outreach and promotional campaigns
  • Create simple, fast content (iPhone-level is fine)

Qualifications

  • 2+ years retail sales or store management experience
  • Comfortable selling and engaging with customers daily
  • Strong execution skills (you get things done, not just planned)
  • Basic understanding of email marketing and social media
  • Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Available to work weekends and peak retail hours

Skills

  • Experience with Shopify POS
  • Experience with Klaviyo (email/SMS)
  • Event planning or local marketing experience
