Job Overview

Furniture Avenue is looking for enthusiastic and customer-oriented Sales Associates to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment, helping customers find the perfect furniture for their homes, and driving sales to support the success of our showroom. You’ll provide personalized service, maintain product knowledge, and ensure every customer has an exceptional shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and create a positive first impression.
• Engage with customers to understand their needs, preferences, and style.
• Present product features, benefits, and financing options in a clear and professional manner.
• Assist customers with selection, measurements, and product availability.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Follow up with customers regarding orders, deliveries, and satisfaction.
• Maintain showroom appearance by organizing displays and keeping the sales floor clean.
• Stay up to date on current promotions, new products, and store policies.
• Work collaboratively with the team to meet and exceed sales goals.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.

Skills & Qualifications

• Previous retail or sales experience (furniture sales a plus, but not required).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build relationships and provide outstanding customer service.
• Goal-oriented with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn point-of-sale systems.
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
