Job Description:

As the public face of the company the Sales Associate is responsible for dealing with any and all customer questions about the products and services the company offers. A Sales Associate is expected to be continuously updating their knowledge of the company products, services, and policies.

Complaint handling is a critical part of this position. Turning a frustrated customer into a happy customer, while adhering to company policies, requires a combination of empathy and tact.

Another key responsibility is maintaining the presentation of the sales floor, products, signage, and displays.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greeting customers, responding to questions, improving engagement with merchandise and providing outstanding customer service.
• Operating cash registers, managing financial transactions, and balancing drawers.
• Achieving established goals.
• Directing customers to merchandise within the store.
• Increasing in store sales.
• Superior product knowledge.
• Maintaining an orderly appearance throughout the sales floor.
• Introducing promotions and opportunities to customers.
• Cross-selling products to increase purchase amounts.
• Interact with customers as needed, providing exceptional customer service.
• Keeps work area clean and sterile.
• Performs other duties as required by management, including cleaning of work areas, and office environment.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Honesty and Integrity is the number one requirement for this position. Enjoy working with electronic gadgets -- we will train you on the procedures and processes of in store environment.

Positive personality and attitude. Reliable and timely, Must have reliable transportation. A very strong work ethic.

• The ability to read, write and communicate in English in order to read and comprehend assembly manuals and process documentation.
• Oral and written communication proficiency.
• Basic computer skills.
• An Associate’s degree or high school diploma.
• Retail sales experience.
• A professional appearance.
• Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
• The ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

Miscellaneous:

• Must pass drug screening prior to employment and subject to ongoing / random drug screenings.
• Starting hourly pay rate of $10.00 - $15.00 / hour per experience and qualifications.
• We are also pleased to offer a very aggressive bonus potential program built around your success.
• Primary work hours will be 8am-5pm Friday Saturdays and Sunday.
• Ability to lift up to 20lbs. Must have reliable transportation to work.
• All employees subject to a criminal background check, credit check and random drug testing.
