Retail Sales Associate

Description:

Sales Associates for The Club and Luciano Barbera Club are responsible for connecting our great brands and products with our clients. Successful applicants will have a background in luxury apparel or jewelry sales and will be able to provide customers with a positive experience. Sales Associates are encouraged to cross-promote other departments and should be familiar and comfortable with the offerings of all three storefronts.

Duties:

• Provide consistent and exceptional customer service
• Demonstrate product knowledge and effectively communicate product features and benefits to customers
• Assist customers in finding the right products based on their needs and preferences
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our Lightspeed POS system
• Handle customer inquiries and returns promptly and to the client’s satisfaction and company procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including restocking products, light merchandising and general housekeeping
• Learn and conform to company policies and procedures
• Promote other storefronts in the company as appropriate to clients
• Achieve sales targets

We would like you to have:

• A Background in luxury retail with experience in selling clothing and/or jewelry preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and coworkers
• Proficiency with basic computer, phone and communication skills
• Organizational skills to maintain a clean and cohesive sales floor
• Time management skills to be punctual, and prioritize tasks appropriately
• Must be able to walk the sales floor and stand for the duration of their scheduled shift
• Ability to lift large/bulky items including mannequins and boxes
• Ability to work holidays and weekends

Helpful, but not required:

• Experience with Lightspeed R Series Point of Sale
• Merchandising experience

We offer competitive compensation, including hourly pay plus a productivity bonus paid out semi-monthly averaging between $4-$10/hour - contingent upon sales, annual bonus, insurance, and vacation after your first year, and employee discounts on store merchandise.
