Retail Sales Associate

260 Sample Sale is a family owned & operated business headquartered in NYC. We have 5 brick & mortar retail locations in NYC, & as of Sept 2017, expanded to Beverly Hills, CA. 260 hosts week-long private & public sample sales for top brands in apparel, accessories and beauty, including: Marc Jacobs, Aquazurra, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, Oscar de la Renta, SoulCycle, Reformation, J Crew, NEST Fragrances, & more!

What’s your Role:

You are expected to provide exceptional customer service. Here at 260 Sample Sale we encourage creativity and believe in taking initiative to act as a personal stylist if needed. It is your number one priority to assist customers with finding products that meet their needs. This includes providing in depth product information about the goods they are interested in and closing the sale.

What to Expect:

• Greet and communicate with all customers and clients
• Maintain visual store appearance in accordance with company Policies and Procedures
• Ensure proper presentation, organization, and replenishment of merchandise
• Provide an exceptional customer service experience by exceeding the customers expectations with an excellent knowledge of each brand
• Demonstrate dedication and professionalism while engaging with customers

What we’d like to See:

• Maintenance of sales floor by folding, straightening, and filling in merchandise throughout the day
• Assist team members to ensure the selling floor, cash register, fitting rooms and stockroom are upheld per store standards
• Confidence when engaging customers

• The ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Flexibility and availability to work weekends including holidays
• Team player / Great Team Spirit
• The ability to interact with clients and give advice on general trends
• High School Diploma Required
• At least 2+ years of retail experience
• Weekend availability

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.87 - $18.00 per hour
