Retail Sales Associate

Pick a Pearl at Broadway at the Beach is hiring dependable people, at $15 an hour +some tips, who are quick learners, able to multi-task, and have strong communication skills. Since this position requires heavy communication with customers, having an outgoing personality will be very helpful. Candidates with open availability will be preferred, and should be able to work weekends as needed. Applicants will have opportunities to start the same week.

Our store specializes in custom made and personalized jewelry. At Pick a Pearl, customers can pick an oyster with a pearl. We take the pearls out of the oysters and make jewelry with the pearls. Your job is to explain the process to customers and help them with picking their jewelry by providing excellent customer service.

As a sales associate you will ensure exceptional in store experiences through positive customer interactions. Within this role you will employ your natural problem solving and sales abilities to answer customer questions and make product recommendations while supporting our store values to enhance customer service and teamwork. Our associates are dedicated to delivering exceptional and consistent customer experiences that positively impact sales growth in our store and contribute to a positive high energy environment

Job Duties

• Maintaining source standards for visual merchandising, cleanliness, and safety.
• Greeting and engaging customers in store.
• Providing exceptional customer service by responding me to customer questions or issues regarding products features, benefits, or availability.
• Utilizing sale skills and excellent customer service to drive store sales.
• Performing all required cash register transactions.

Skills Required

• Effective communication skills, being open to feedback and the ability to act on it.
• Work effectively with peers and supervisors to accomplish tasks.
• Capability of handling multiple tasks at a time.
