Retail Sales Associate - Heckle Blvd Location

O’Darby’s is a retailer of Fine Wine, Spirits, and Craft Beer with 3 stores in the Rock Hill Area.

Job responsibilities include:

• Aid in maintaining a clean, customer friendly environment in the store
• Ring customer sales on an electronic cash register
• Receive cash from customers and give correct change
• Desire to be part of a performance-driven team
• Work the retail floor talking with customers about wine, spirits, and beer.
• The Sales Associate position requires constant standing and walking with occasional stooping, reaching, kneeling and crouching/squatting. Frequent or occasional lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling of 20 – 50 pounds is required.
• Shelf restocking and inter-store bottle transfers
• Over the telephone order taking for restaurants, etc.
• Working 2-3 Saturdays a month is also required

Experience, Education, & Skills required include:

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office is a plus.
• Previous Point of Sale/Retail experience is also helpful.
• Applicants must pass a drug test and must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and co-workers.

This position begins with a trial period to ensure a strong mutual fit. While we hope for a long-term partnership, early termination may occur if expectations or performance aren't aligned.

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
