Position Summary

The Retail Sales Executive for PET Bottled Water is responsible for achieving sales targets, expanding market presence, and building strong relationships with retail outlets, supermarkets, groceries, and distributors. This role focuses on increasing product visibility, ensuring proper shelf placement, and driving sales volume across the PET water category.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for PET bottled water products.
  • Identify, approach, and onboard new retail customers (groceries, supermarkets, minimarts, wholesalers).
  • Maintain regular visits to existing retail outlets to ensure consistent stock availability.
  • Implement merchandising standards—ensuring products are well displayed, neatly arranged, and priced correctly.
  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and promotions in assigned territories.
  • Coordinate with the delivery/logistics team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Collect orders from retail outlets and update daily sales tracking sheets.
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve any retail customer concerns.
  • Execute marketing and promotional campaigns at store level (sampling, offers, POS material).
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports related to sales performance and market insights.

Requirements

  • Experience in retail or FMCG sales, preferably in bottled water or beverage categories.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently in the field and manage assigned routes effectively.
  • Familiarity with retail channels (grocery, supermarket, wholesale markets).
  • Valid driving license (if field mobility is required).
  • Basic knowledge of sales reporting tools is an advantage.
  • High energy, goal-oriented, and self-motivated.
