Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers
• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system
• Stock shelves and coolers
• Keep the sales floor clean and organized
• Answer customer questions and provide excellent service
• Help maintain product displays throughout the day

Qualifications:

• Friendly, positive attitude
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
• Retail or customer service experience is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right person
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Back of House Seafood Associate – H&J Seafood Market (Goose Creek)

We’re hiring hardworking team members!

H&J Seafood Market is looking for dependable individuals to join our back-of-house team. This is a physically demanding position that requires someone who enjoys staying busy and takes pride in doing the job right.

Responsibilities:

• Handle and package fresh seafood
• Clean and fillet fish
• Receive and unload deliveries
• Stock coolers and freezers
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area
• Assist with general warehouse and seafood preparation duties

Requirements:

• Must be able to repeatedly lift 50+ pounds
• Comfortable working in a cold, wet environment
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Dependable with excellent attendance
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
• Seafood experience is a plus, but we will train the right person
