Job Purpose:
The role is to build business by identifying prospects and selling products, maintaining relationships with clients.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, guidance, researching and recommending new opportunities, recommending profit and service improvements.
- Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
- Identify new and potential customers within the local market
- Manage and ensure supplies to the local market customers
- Share leads for new customers for local sales with colleagues and line manager in order to grow market share
- Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
- Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards and negotiates contracts and packages.
- Co-ordination on day-to-day basis with customers’ requirements, payments, arranging for shipping documents & transportation for shipment.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results and reviewing sales performance as needed.
- Organizes sales visits and plant tour to existing and prospect clients demonstrating and presenting products.
- Aims at achieving monthly or annual targets.
- Any other duties instructed by Management and commensurate with the accountabilities of the post.
