Retail Store & Catering Manager ( Dairy & Ice Cream )

The Retail Sales & Catering Business Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end operations of the Dairy Shop & Café while driving retail sales, café performance, and all catering/event-related business. This role ensures excellent customer experience, strong revenue growth, smooth store operations, and effective execution of catering orders, events, and external activations.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on operator with a strong background in restaurant and café management, retail sales operations, and local catering business development.

This role demands a commercially driven professional who can take full ownership of outlet performance, manage day-to-day operations, lead teams, handle e-commerce aggregators, and drive growth through promotions, events, and customer loyalty initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management

• Oversee the day-to-day functioning of assigned outlets, ensuring operational excellence, hygiene, and brand consistency.
• Monitor daily sales, cash handling, and stock control processes.
• Coordinate with procurement and production teams to ensure timely product replenishment and minimal wastage.
• Ensure both outlets comply with UAE food safety and municipality regulations.

Sales & Business Development

• Drive outlet sales through effective merchandising, upselling, and customer engagement.
• Identify and convert catering opportunities from corporate clients, events, and community gatherings.
• Develop partnerships with local offices, schools, and residential communities to promote products and services.

Team Leadership

• Train, and manage outlet staff (service crew and delivery drivers).
• Set performance goals and ensure staff deliver outstanding customer service.
• Conduct regular briefings, performance reviews, and motivation sessions to maintain team efficiency and morale.

E-commerce & Delivery Operations

• Manage relationships with online delivery platforms (Talabat, Careem, Deliveroo, etc.) — ensuring proper listing, pricing, and promotions.
• Supervise and optimize the home delivery arm operating from the stores, including scheduling, routing, and vehicle utilization.
• Ensure all delivery vehicles and drivers adhere to brand, hygiene, and safety standards.

Financial & Reporting

• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales reports, expense statements, and inventory summaries.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) including sales growth, wastage, delivery performance, and customer feedback.

Requirements:

Experience

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in managing multi-outlet food retail, café, or restaurant operations in the UAE.
• Proven experience in catering sales, home delivery management, and aggregator handling is mandatory.

Other Requirements

• Must hold a valid UAE driving license.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and extended hours as per business requirements.
• Fluency in English, Hindi, Gujrati; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
