Responsibilities
- Stock Quality & Stock Month Coverage:
- Stock quality & sales follow up
- Analyse, identify and closely follow up key selling items by Métier at different levels (SKUs, models, categories)
- Set dedicated short term forecasts even with basic tools or methodology
- Arrange regular meetings with the In store Sales Floor manager to align on product offer and identify key selling items
- Adapt product call strategy accordingly
- Follow buying / order temporality (Podium orders, reorders, PSI ) accordingly
- Proactively advise and promote slow moving items to the Sales team
- Monitor and warn about product shortages or risk of shortage and propose alternatives
- Cultivate awareness of market trends in product selling (other Hermès stores performance, RM reports)
- Organise phase out campaign and destock the right product in alignment with the Retail merchandising team
- Stock Month Coverage:
- Define, follow, and optimise the right stock coverage for the store to meet sales targets and align with subsidiary retail merchandising guidelines
- Adapt product call strategy accordingly
- Implement Relevant KPIs:
- MOS, ABC analysis, Sell through, Stock ageing
- In store Space Capacity Monitoring:
- Monitor storage capacity to avoid saturation of the in store stockroom and enhance sales strategy
- Help organise store stockrooms (front & back) based on product offer strategy with the Floor Manager
- Coordinate with the LDC and local subsidiary on item locations across store stockrooms, remote stockroom, and subsidiary stockrooms
- Anticipate right sizing of storage capacity based on store sales seasonality
- Implement relevant KPIs: storage capacity by available stockrooms, allocation by métiers, product call strategy
- Global replenishment plan to follow novelties release, store events, and buying/order sessions
- Min / Max Settings CEGID:
- Implement min / max CEGID settings with in store floor managers, remote stockroom, product offer, sales strategy, and storage capacity; revise regularly
- Closely follow sales and replenish accordingly
- SAP & Cockpit Supply Chain Use (with LDC Capabilities):
- Manage product flows using SAP MRP and Cockpit functionalities
- Call for needed quantities in coordination with LDC teams
- Special Events:
- Anticipate and adapt product call for peak seasons (fashion weeks, year end celebrations), commercial events (Haute Bijouterie / Crafting Time, Carré Club, trunk shows), new products/seasonal launches, or destocking/phase out processes with the Retail merchandising team
- Follow up product call and control replenishment plan against reality
- Implement relevant KPIs: OTIF - On Time In Full, SKU coverage / consumption plan
- Transversal Management:
- Present KPIs regularly to Store management team
- Share stock management according to sales plan and stock level
- Help build sales & stock analysis for Podium buyings or reorder sessions
- Interact daily with LDC teams and possibly Central customer service
- Forge relations with other Group actors
- Collaborate closely with local logistic teams (Logistic Coordinator)
- Collaborate closely with RM teams (RSP - RM Planner); alert for stock shortage and request stock rebalancing
Measures of Success
- Optimum stock levels across all métiers in Dubai Mall
- Efficient rotation of stock to maximum sell through rates
- Achievement of monthly/annual sales budget
- Increased product awareness among the store team
- Strong collaboration with all store and corporate actors
Experience
- At least 5 years' experience in retail merchandising
- Knowledge of CEGID / M3 or SAP S4 Hana
- Good knowledge of forecast methodologies and tools
- Understanding of supply chain basic concepts
- Excellent behavioural and communication skills, leadership, ability to work with sales teams and liaise with corporate teams
- Very organized, rigorous, and reliable
- Excellent analytical skills
- Business and service oriented, proactive to propose improvements and support other team members. Proficient with Excel / IT tools (Pivot, Vlookup functions), Word, PowerPoint
- Experience in retail is beneficial
