Retail Store Sales Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, assisting them with their purchases, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for retail sales.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
• Provide knowledgeable information about products and services to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Stocking deliveries.
• Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system and cash register.
• Handle cash transactions with precision, ensuring all cash handling procedures are followed.
• Maintain an organized and well-stocked sales floor by restocking shelves and managing inventory levels.
• Assist in visual merchandising to create an appealing shopping environment.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve store sales goals and maintain high standards of customer service.
• Maintain a clean store environment

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales or a customer service role is preferred but not required.
• Basic math skills and familiarity with retail math concepts are essential for processing transactions accurately.
• Strong phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members alike.
• Experience with cash handling procedures and operating a cash register is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
