Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and organized Retail Storekeeper to manage inventory, receive and issue stock, maintain accurate records, and ensure the store is well-stocked and organized. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail and experience in inventory control and store operations. Storekeepers typically manage inventory, receive and inspect goods, maintain stock records, and ensure proper storage of materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock and materials.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of products.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excess inventory.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock reports.
- Conduct regular stock counts and inventory audits.
- Issue materials/products as per operational requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding deliveries and discrepancies.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the store area.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and inventory procedures.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Storekeeper, Store Assistant, or similar role.
- Knowledge of inventory management and stock control procedures.
- Basic computer skills and experience with ERP/inventory systems.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
