We are looking for a retail supervisor with a proven track record to provide excellent customer service at our store brand new store opening at O'hare international airport.

Chicago Neighborhood Market and Goods at O’Hare is more than just a retail space, it’s an elevated grab-and-go kiosk offering high-quality pre-packaged sandwiches, salads, snacks, and beverages while empowering students from The Felicity School, an educational and life-changing program. This collaboration is led by Love From USA, a company with 24 stores in airports and high-profile venues nationwide. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Interacting with customers, giving them product suggestions and communicating features and benefits of the items.
• Completing all the assigned tasks by the manager.
• Ringing sales accurately and efficiently on the cash register.
• Enthusiastically greet each customer upon entry into the store.
• Maintaining displays in the store and ensuring that they comply with company standards.
• Maintaining visual presentation and recovery standards throughout shift by assisting in folding and straightening projects.
• Assist with the processing of daily deliveries and properly placing the merchandise on the sales floor or back stock, as directed by the manager.
• Contribute positively to create a fun, upbeat, friendly environment within the store for both customers and fellow associates.
• Opening and closing the store, counting down tills, preparing deposits and performing other closing procedures.

Skills and Specifications

• Should possess strong verbal communication skills.
• Should have good interpersonal skills for interacting with customers.
• Should be a team player and have the ability to meet assigned tasks and goals.

Education and Qualifications

• High school degree, diploma, or a GED equivalent qualification from a certified institution.
• Food Manager and Sanitation Certificate Required, or able to obtain upon hire
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time (minimum of 4 hours).

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
