Retail Technology Senior Lead

JOB PURPOSE:

Manage the team of BA by control and guide the effective development of business requirement in line with business strategy, Support Product Owner in managing backlog and draft Agile user stories.


AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Implements approved departmental policies, processes, procedures and provides instructions to subordinates and monitors their adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner.
  • Implements the day-to-day operations assigned for the Product Development function to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures.
  • Provides input for the development of departmental budget and monitors performance against approved levels within own function, ensuring any variances are appropriately addressed.
  • Review BA team and support in Determining the scope and time of work.
  • Ensure the delivery of the Business BRDs from the initiation till the approval of the BRD.
  • Manage the team by coordinating with the different stakeholders from the BU, the broader organization, and customers, to capture input for the requirements.
  • Support the elaboration of Business Case.
  • Identify and define detailed product requirements, use cases, and UAT test cases and assist in translating into test conditions & expected results.
  • Assist Product Owner with User Stories and prepare mockups/ wireframes.
  • Map existing business processes and analyze & design new processes.
  • Define metrics and performance goals for the product.
  • Participate in transitioning the requirements and use cases to solution analysts and designers, and ensure a clear and complete understanding.
  • Follow up and ensure the success of the UAT and resolve or escalate any bottlenecks to the solution analyst, BU leads, or champions.
  • Establish the traceability of requirements to validate the dependencies between the deliverables and the inputs.
  • Manages and assigns the tasks to the BA team.
  • Ensures and facilitates the employment, training and development of Saudi nationals within the organization.
  • Ensures the proper communication with the SAs to ensure the proper delivery of the BRD.
  • Contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices considering ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
  • Prepares departmental reports of Riyad Bank timely and accurately to meet the bank and department requirements, policies and standards.
  • Represents the function and actively contributes in various committees/meetings (internal and external) as applicable and per authority levels in order to ensure relevant matters are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Complies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.


TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE AREAS:

  • Extensive knowledge of banking BT systems and applications.
  • Extensive knowledge of the banking operations and requirements.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Business-savvy analyst.
  • Functional, Design generalist.
  • General knowledge in software development.
  • Strong knowledge of the BU.
  • Extensive knowledge of programming languages operating systems relevant to the assigned business area, e.g., UNIX, SQL, java, .NET, Visual Basic, Midas, Moody’s, etc.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, IT engineering or equivalent preferably at a post-graduate level

Minimum Experience:

  • 8-10 years of relevant experience in banking products & BT applications

  • English: Advanced
