Retail Textiles Marketing Executive

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Retail Textile Marketing Executive to promote and grow our finished textile products such as bedsheets, towels, garments, and home textiles. The candidate will be responsible for market development, retailer engagement, sales growth, and brand visibility.

Roles & Responsibilities
1. Product Knowledge & Merchandising
Understand all finished textile products (dhoti, shirts, sarees, leggings, churidar, home textiles, etc.).
Maintain updated knowledge of fabric types, counts, GSM, finishes, and quality parameters.
Ensure correct product display, visual merchandising, and inventory arrangement.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment with production and warehouse teams.

2. Retail Sales & Customer Handling
Greet and assist customers with product selection.
Provide expert explanations on product features, fabric quality, durability, pricing, and care instructions.
Handle customer complaints, returns, and adjustments professionally.
Achieve monthly sales targets and maintain high customer satisfaction.

3. Marketing & Promotion Activities
Execute in-store promotional campaigns, festive offers, and seasonal displays.
Support digital marketing team with product photography, descriptions, and promotions.
Gather customer feedback for future product development.
Identify trending styles, colors, and regional demand patterns.

4. Market Development & Field Work
Build and maintain relationships with retail shops, dealers, distributors, and textile showrooms.
Conduct regular field visits to collect market information and competitor pricing.
Identify new retail opportunities in nearby towns and cities.
Monitor slow-moving and fast-moving items to plan better inventory.

5. Communication & Coordination
Coordinate with production, design, and quality teams for new launches.
Share daily/weekly retail store performance reports with management.
Communicate customer requirements and market feedback to the senior team.
Ensure timely delivery of goods to retailers by coordinating with the logistics team.

6. Retail Operations
Maintain accurate billing, stock registers, and sales entries.
Ensure the store is clean, well-organized, and customer-friendly.
Follow company policies on pricing, discounting, and product handling.
Train new retail staff on product knowledge and selling techniques.

7. Performance & Reporting
Prepare daily sales reports, customer statistics, and marketing activity notes.
Analyse sales data to identify growth opportunities.
Plan and achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
Track competitor activities, pricing strategies, and new product launches.
