is a leading cosmetics company, and we are seeking a highly motivated Retail Trainer to join our team. The Retail trainers will be in charge for in-class/in-store/ digital training and follow up in a dedicated area. This will require 80% of time OUT (in-store and coaching) and 20% of time IN (receive training material, work on reports, meeting with Training and HO Team) – 4 days out and 1 day in per week.

Main Responsibilities

Ensure effective in-class/in-store/digital Training

Optimize customer journey

Support team guidance and development

Demonstrate excellent organization and communication skills
Effective In-class/In-store/Digital Training

Provide product knowledge, selling tips and application techniques on KIKO brands products – novelties and current products

Impart knowledge by teaching makeup application, skin consultation, haircare consultation
-
Communicate and inspire the cast on categories training and relevant product information
-
Ensure the cast is attending training and follow up is done after the training is attended

Coordinate post training support/follow up
-
Review training contents and share feedback
-
Own the management and the logistic of the training

Be a facilitator for training delivery – make sure all materials are available and goes smoothly during the training
Optimize Customer Journey
-
Embody the KIKO customer journey, setting an example in front of the cast
-
Working closely with store management, motivate and inspire the cast to apply and follow the KIKO customer journey
-
Coaching the cast to display the KIKO customer journey, upskilling the teams though use of selling techniques including link selling up/cross selling to enhance the client experience

Develop and propose effective and creative solutions to drive KIKO customer journey on the shop floor

Visit the stores weekly basis to support with follow up /coaching
Team Development

Using the evaluation methods, be responsible for providing consistent feedback to the cast, leveraging expertise and knowledge within the team

Encourage and develop the cast through regular feedback in collaboration with store management coaching following each observation

Lead and organize bi-yearly assessment for Beauty Advisor

Monitor and compile training data to support certification process
Organization/Communication/Support

Prepare monthly calendar, as per the needs of the stores and follow up by preparing monthly meetings with Area/Store Management to define tangible action plans

Compile data and provide comprehensive reports on a monthly basis

Work closely with Area/Store Management to share and exchange educational feedback on cast learning

Be aware of the store performance to adjust training and coaching according to business

Coordinate regular meetings with Regional Training Manager to share and exchange feedback

Marketing support if expertise on social media/PR events/master classes are needed

Commercial – align on business and support needs at store level

Collection results communication via e-mail for your region
Flexible and willing to perform other tasks as assigned “KNOW HOW”

Project an exceptional image and body language in accordance with the guidelines set by KIKO, to set example for the cast

Skills & Competencies

Minimum 1-2 years experience in training
-
Worked on the shop floor is a PLUS

Makeup knowledge (product/trend/theory/colour) & application technique

Skincare, Haircare, Fragrance knowledge

Excellent presentation skills/managing and delivering trainings

Able to adapt to any situations

Excellent communication skills
