Retired Merchant Navy - Operation Manager

We are looking for an experienced Manager Operations with a background as a Merchant Navy Captain (Retired) to manage and oversee vessel operations. Based at our Karachi office, the role will focus on remotely coordinating shipping activities for cargo movements linked to our UAE operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate ship operations for cargo vessels handling company shipments.
• Maintain close liaison with shipping agents, port authorities, and vessel teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Track vessel schedules, monitor cargo movements, and ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations and safety standards.
• Coordinate regularly with the UAE (Sharjah) office for operational updates and shipment planning.
• Identify and resolve operational issues to avoid delays or disruptions.
• Maintain accurate shipping records and prepare operational reports for management.
• Oversee documentation related to cargo handling, shipping, and vessel operations.

Eligibility Criteria

• Retired Captain from the Merchant Navy (essential requirement).
• Strong understanding of marine operations, shipping logistics, and cargo handling procedures.
• Experience in handling oil, lubricants, or bulk cargo shipments will be an added advantage.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Pay: Rs150,000.00 - Rs200,000.00 per hour
