Revenue Analyst

Job Purpose

This role will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including revenue recognition analysis, journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Revenue Recognition:

1. Analyze complex revenue contracts to ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition in accordance with relevant industry standards.

2. Prepare and review revenue schedules, journal entries, and support documentation.

3. Monitor and analyze revenue trends, identify potential issues, and propose solutions.

• Account Reconciliation:

1. Perform monthly account reconciliations for revenue-related accounts, including deferred revenue, unearned revenue, and revenue accounts.

2. Investigate and resolve reconciling items in a timely manner.

• Financial Reporting:

1. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including revenue-related disclosures.

2. Prepare ad-hoc reports and analyses as needed.

• Process Improvement:

1. Identify opportunities to improve revenue recognition processes and systems.

2. Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

• Compliance:

1. Stay up to date with the latest accounting standards and industry regulations.

2. Ensure compliance with internal controls

• Comply with CARMA policies and procedures and support CARMA's mission and vision.

• Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the Head of Finance.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of five years of experience in a related field.
• Fluency in Arabic is essential for effective communication with customers, and an excellent command of English is required for clear and professional communication.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook for data analysis, report generation, and communication.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems is advantageous.
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
• Good understanding of PR & Communication and their measurement best practices.
