Role Overview


We have a challenging opportunity opened up for the role of Senior Consultant in our Revenue Management and Risk Advisory practice. Senior consultants work in a client facing role and take on the responsibility of carrying out Revenue assurance and Fraud Management reviews for telecom operators in and around middle-east. They assist clients in addressing revenue, operational and strategic risks. They work in teams to provide high-quality execution of projects for clients in Communications and other industries. Typical projects comprise of conducting voluminous transaction data analytics reviews, revenue assurance and fraud management controls and risks, function maturity assessment and benchmarking as per best practices, revenue management processes and internal controls. Provide recommendations to clients for improvement or remediation and draft reports on gaps & key issues requiring redress.

Senior consultants demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge by staying abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client's business. They establish deep relationships with client personnel (at appropriate levels) by understanding client's perspective and become the de-facto go-to-person.

Their work output is expected to be of outstanding quality.

Senior consultants also participate in business and practice development initiatives for e.g. working on business proposals, identifying business leads, etc. In addition, they get opportunities to perform research and contribute to the development of thought leadership. If assigned, they are expected to coach, train and support junior members in the team.



Key Responsibilities

  • Independently execute engagements related to Revenue Assurance, Fraud Management and Business Process engagements
  • Review business processes – product configuration, sales, customer onboarding, network and billing, payment and collection; and identify improvement areas which could result in minimizing revenue leakage or improve revenue.
  • Identify and assess revenue related risks & recommend controls by developing a risk and control matrix for revenue and cost related process.
  • Perform control assessment to assess the maturity of RAFM controls and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Design, test and de-bug RAFM controls and create Business Requirement Document for control development in vendor grade RAFM tools.
  • Perform controls independently on huge volume of transactional data using SQL, WEDO, Subex etc.
  • Use innovative methods using dashboards (power BI, tableau etc.) for RAFM related Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting.
  • Coordinate with multiple business teams and technology team during the project for data gathering, RAFM issue investigation and closure.
  • Create revenue assurance related reports e.g. control performance report, assessment report, maturity report, charter, policy, procedures as part of project deliverables.
  • Support in creating proposal, business development, thought leadership, solution decks.


Desired Profile

  • Prior consulting experience (preferably big 4) in Revenue Assurance
  • Prior experience in working with RAFM tool companies (Subex, Mobilium)
  • Experience in development of dashboard in Power BI and Tableau
  • Proven experience in performing data analysis using analytical tools and advanced excel skills
  • Industry – Telecom domain preferred. Knowledge of Banking, Utilities, e-commerce domain is a plus
  • Data Visualization skills in – Tableau / Power BI are preferred.
  • • Good to have – Digital technologies, Knowledge of R, Python, RPA.
