Revenue Cycle Analyst f unctions independently with full understanding of all components of the revenue cycle. Completes complex projects of diverse scope. Independently analyzes and resolves highly complex billing and reimbursement issues, including correction of claims, charge routing, and system configuration errors. Applies knowledge of payer contracts and coordination of benefits to correct billing issues, mitigate reimbursement risk, and ensure accurate and compliant claims submission.

Evaluates trends across denials, accounts receivable, and reimbursement outcomes to set workflow priorities and recommend and implement process, system, and policy improvements that support efficient service delivery models and maximization of reimbursement.

Partners with clinical, revenue cycle, compliance, and financial services teams to design, implement, and sustain compliant billing workflows and system solutions, including escalation pathways and alternative reimbursement strategies for complex claims and funding scenarios, in alignment with internal policies and external regulatory requirements. , and sustain compliant billing workflows and system solutions

The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.

Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.

The salary range for this position is $91,600 - $139,700 (Annual Rate).
