Expected pay for this position is $36.04 - $42.40/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Revenue Cycle Business Analyst plays a critical role in the financial health and operational efficiency of OSF revenue cycle. This position is responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and reporting on revenue cycle processes, including billing, collections, reimbursements, and financial data management. The analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify trends, resolve issues, and implement process improvements to maximize revenue and reduce and monitor expense.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, healthcare administration, or related field

Experience: 2+ years of experience in financial analysis

Licensure/ Certification:
CRCR (Certified Revenue Cycle Representative) within 12 months of hire into the position.

Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and interact with stakeholders at all levels
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and data management.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Master’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, healthcare administration, or related field Experience: 2+ years of experience in financial analysis in a healthcare environment Other Skills/ Knowledge: Knowledge of healthcare billing, coding, and reimbursement methodologies
