Role Overview

We are looking for a Revenue Cycle Management Manager to oversee and lead the full revenue cycle process. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate claims submission, minimizing denials, improving cash flow, and managing a high-performing billing team aligned with U.S. healthcare standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage end-to-end Revenue Cycle Management processes, including patient registration, charge capture, claim submission, payment posting, denial management, AR follow-up, and patient collections.
• Lead and mentor a team of billing specialists across different service lines (e.g., wound care, specialty, primary care).
• Manage and optimize all workflows within Athenahealth/AthenaIDX (athenaOne), including claims, adjustments, demographics, denials, and reporting.
• Monitor essential revenue cycle KPIs such as AR days, denial rates, and clean claim rates, and implement improvement strategies.
• Work collaboratively with clinical, coding, and credentialing teams to resolve discrepancies and reduce denials.
• Ensure compliance with payer policies, CPT/ICD-10/HCPCS coding standards, and U.S. healthcare billing regulations.
• Identify process gaps and implement improvements or automation (e.g., clearinghouse integration, low-touch workflows) to enhance efficiency.
• Prepare and present regular financial and operational performance reports to leadership.

Who You AreExperience & Expertise

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in U.S. healthcare Revenue Cycle Management, ideally in primary care, wound care, or multi-specialty environments.
• Deep expertise in Athenahealth/AthenaIDX, including claims submission, AR workflows, denial resolution, reporting, and system administration.
• Strong understanding of U.S. payer rules, coding standards, and common revenue cycle challenges.
• Experience managing remote teams working in U.S. shifts (preferably India-based).
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and training skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting wound care billing or similar specialties such as primary care or mental health is highly advantageous.
