This position monitors the quality and productivity of the RCMO AR and charge entry teams through the direct supervision of staff, and by setting and monitoring individual and department targets. Improves and automates production services as appropriate, recommending change and efficiencies to the Director. This position is able to effectively communicate with directors, administrators, and executive staff. This position requires a practical knowledge and experience in all functions of the revenue cycle, including registration, insurance verification, financial counseling, and benefit determination. Provides direct supervision to activities of a billing department to include accounts receivable, and other reimbursement related activities.

The referenced base salary range represents the low and high end of University of Maryland’s Faculty Physician’s Inc. salary range for this position. Some candidates will not be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's geographic location, skills, work experience, market conditions, internal equity, responsibility factor and span of control, education/training and other qualifications.
