Revenue Cycle Manager

Join our growing specialty physician practice as a Revenue Cycle Manager, where you will lead a high-performing billing team and drive operational excellence across our multi-location revenue cycle operations. We are seeking an experienced billing leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at data analysis, and is passionate about improving processes, team performance, and financial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all revenue cycle functions including billing, coding, insurance collections, denial management, cash posting, and accounts receivable follow-up.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a skilled billing team to ensure accuracy, accountability, and high performance.
• Analyze revenue cycle data to identify trends, optimize workflows, and support key financial objectives.
• Ensure timely and accurate charge entry, claims submission, payment posting, and follow-up activities.
• Develop strategies to reduce denials, improve collections, and minimize unnecessary write-offs.
• Collaborate with payers, providers, and internal departments to resolve escalated billing and reimbursement issues.
• Prepare clear, data-driven revenue cycle reports and present insights to executive leadership and physicians.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of healthcare billing experience in a physician practice, hospital, or insurance environment.
• Demonstrated experience leading or supervising revenue cycle or billing teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial and operational data.
• Advanced Excel skills required; experience with Epic or other revenue cycle systems preferred.
• Proven ability to drive process improvement, manage team performance, and achieve operational goals.
