Revenue Strategy Coordinator

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Revenue Management Support

    • Assist the Director of Revenue Management with daily analysis of occupancy, pickup trends, and market demand.
    • Compile and prepare revenue performance reports for daily, weekly, and monthly review.
    • Support revenue forecasting by gathering and organizing historical data and demand trends.
    • Assist with preparation for weekly revenue strategy meetings.
    • Review and manage room inventory controls and pricing.
    • Assist with system audits to ensure correct rates, restrictions, and availability.
    • Monitor competitive set pricing and market changes.

    Reservations Operations Support

    • Support reservations operations including group block maintenance, rooming list management, and reservation accuracy.
    • Support reservation agents with complex booking situations or system questions.
    • Ensure reservation accuracy and adherence to hotel policies.
    • Monitor reservations inbox and respond to guest and partner inquiries as needed.
    • Assist with commission processing and reservation reporting.

    Cross-Department Coordination

    • Coordinate with Sales, Front Office, and Accounting to ensure alignment on group blocks, reservations, and revenue reporting.
    • Assist in resolving reservation or billing discrepancies affecting guest satisfaction or revenue.
    • Provide operational support during high demand periods.

    Systems & Data Management

    • Perform regular system audits to ensure accurate rate loading, inventory controls, and booking restrictions.
    • Maintain data accuracy across revenue management and reservations platforms.
    • Assist in identifying system discrepancies that may impact revenue or booking performance.

    Revenue & Reservations Coverage Support

    • Assist with departmental responsibilities during the absence of the Director of Revenue Management or Reservations Manager to ensure continuity in operations.
    • Support special projects focused on improving processes, reporting, and operational efficiency.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum 2 years of hotel experience, preferably in Front Office, Reservations, Accounting, or Revenue Management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with Hilton hotel systems is a plus.
  • College degree preferred but not required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles and applicable accounting standards
  • Knowledge of accounts receivable, invoicing, and billing processes
  • Proficiency in financial systems and enterprise resource planning tools
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for resolving discrepancies and interpreting data
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data entry
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external clients
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to interpret and apply financial regulations and company policies
