We’re looking for a Revenue Tax Analyst to join our Business Tax Enforcement Division!

Minimum Qualifications

One year of experience in administrative services.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will substitute for six months of the required experience.

Job Duties and Other Information

Job Duties:

In this role, you will:

  • Assist walk-in taxpayers in a timely fashion for business and individual income as well as accept prepared returns and payment, including payments from special events.
  • Resolve taxpayer accounts utilizing knowledge of tax laws, rules and regulations of all taxes administered by the Department of Revenue.
  • Independently processes assigned dormant account list and correspondence.
  • Research, analyze and work dormant business taxpayer accounts.
  • Research and evaluate taxpayer information through various computer databases.
Position-Specific Details:
Appointment Type: Probational, Promotional, Job Appointment, Detail to Special Duty or WAE
Career Progression: This position may be filled as Revenue Tax Analyst 1 or 2.
Compensation: The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
