Overview
RF/SATCOM Site Lead role at Amentum. Responsible for the day-to-day performance of maintenance contracted operations and services, leading EM personnel, and ensuring policy compliance. Reports to the Site Lead and the Deputy C-PM/ATC Technical Rep/SME. Scope includes conducting daily site status meetings to support 24/7 mission operations.
Essential Responsibilities
- Conduct daily meetings to evaluate site status and synchronize program execution to provide 24/7 mission support.
- Manage the day-to-day performance of the maintenance assigned contracted operations and services.
- Participate in developing and implementing policies and procedures for the organization and ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Provide direction and leadership to assigned personnel, including ensuring staff is adequately trained.
- Manage EM personnel and administrative actions such as monthly scheduling and training; assign and ensure completion of work center duties.
- Oversee system configuration, user training, and support; monitor project timelines and deliverables.
- Monitor manning levels and approve vacation requests based on operational requirements.
- Coordinate workloads, priorities, and schedules to ensure timely and effective completion of work.
- Monitor and evaluate staff performance; track progress and report project status to Amentum leadership and customers.
- Review and ensure compliance with maintenance management publications and procedures; maintain inspection and maintenance records.
Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
- High school diploma or GED. Formal electronics training such as military technical training, vocational college, or a four-year electronics apprentice program with experience in electronics equipment maintenance.
- Minimum IAT Level II, baseline certification IAW AFMAN 17-1303; IP fundamentals; familiarity with deployable communications systems; RF/SATCOM principles highly desired.
Qualifications
- Experience on all ATCALS and C2 platforms.
- Experience in project management and functional leadership.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US CENTCOM Medical Exam.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain a US Government Secret Security Clearance. Note: US citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.
