We’re looking for a hands-on Engineering Technician to join our team and help maintain the heartbeat of The Orlando Eye. This is your chance to work on world-class attractions, cutting-edge systems, and immersive guest experiences—all while being part of a team that brings joy to millions.
Qualifications & Experience
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll play a critical role in ensuring our attractions and facilities are operating at peak performance:
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on rides, including the observation wheel and carousel
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control systems (24V DC – 480V AC)
- Conduct daily safety inspections and ensure compliance with all health & safety standards
- Work at heights (yes—this includes the wheel!) and in a variety of indoor/outdoor conditions
- Maintain lighting, audio-visual systems, and site infrastructure
- Support new installations, upgrades, and special engineering projects
- Keep detailed maintenance records and ensure all work meets regulatory standards
️ What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of hands-on engineering or technical maintenance experience
- Background in mechanical, electrical, or controls systems (theme park or attraction experience is a plus!)
- Comfortable working at heights and in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a safety-first mindset
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work with tools, ladders, and powered equipment

Ability to meet the physical requirement of weighing and maintaining less than 280 lbs (due to the weight
limitations on the ladder(s)) - Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
