We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Rig Superintendent
with expertise in
3000 horsepower (HP) deep drilling and High-Temperature High-Pressure (HTHP) LAND rig operations
. This is a
residential position to be based in Kuwait.
Responsibilities:

Provide overall supervision and management of drilling operations on the rig

Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations and policies

Monitor and control drilling activities to ensure efficient and effective operations
-
Coordinate with the drilling team to develop drilling plans and strategies
-
Ensure that drilling procedures and best practices are followed
-
Oversee the maintenance and repair of drilling equipment to ensure optimal performance
-
Monitor drilling progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet project objectives
-
Analyze drilling data and provide recommendations for improvements and optimization
-
Supervise and train drilling personnel to maintain a high level of competency and safety awareness

Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of drilling operations
-
Prepare reports and presentations on drilling activities, performance, and future plans
-
Stay updated with industry advancements, technologies, and best practices
Requirements:
-
Extensive experience as a Rig Superintendent in the oil and gas indus
try with the last 5 years as a Rig Superintendent

Strong knowledge and experience in 3000 hp deep drilling rig operations
-
Proficiency in High-Temperature High-Pressure (HTHP) drilling techniques and procedures
-
Must have managed more than 2 rigs at a given time

Familiarity with Kuwait's drilling regulations and industry standards

Excellent leadership and team management skills

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Proficient in using drilling software and technology

Valid certifications and licenses as required by regulatory bodies
