Rig Welder

Job Summary

Welders needed for a Turnaround in Texas City starting April 20.

Job Length: 12-14 Days

Hours: 12 hour shifts, 7 days/week

Per Diem: Location Based

Duties

• Perform welding using SMAW, GTAW, FCAW, and GMAW processes
• Weld piping, structural steel, and mechanical components
• Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols
• Complete fit-up, tack welding, and final welds to specifications
• Inspect welds and assist with testing as needed
• Maintain welding equipment and tools
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• 3–5 years of welding experience (industrial preferred)
• Welding certifications (AWS, ASME, API, etc.) preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and work in field conditions
• Strong commitment to safety and quality

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
• Work at heights, in confined spaces, and in industrial environments
• Stand, bend, climb, and work extended hours as needed
• Must pass company Weld Test

Pay: From $34.00 per hour
