Rigger

Key Responsibilities

• Perform rigging, lifting, and hoisting activities for pipes, manholes, precast units, pumps, and related materials
• Inspect rigging gear (slings, shackles, chains, hooks) before use and report defects
• Assist crane operators by signaling and guiding loads safely
• Ensure all lifting operations follow approved lifting plans and method statements
• Maintain safe working practices in excavations and confined areas
• Ensure compliance with project HSE standards and toolbox talks
• Coordinate with supervisors, crane operators, and site engineers
• Stop unsafe lifting activities and report hazards immediately

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as a rigger on water, sewerage, or infrastructure projects
• Valid Rigger Certificate (Third Party / Approved Training Body)
• Knowledge of lifting equipment and load calculations
• Familiarity with HSE standards and safe rigging practices
• Ability to work in confined spaces and excavations
• Physically fit and able to work in outdoor site conditions
• Good communication skills (hand signals & basic English)

Preferred (Added Advantage)

• Experience working with large-diameter pipes and precast concrete units
• Valid banksman / signalman certification
• Experience on utility or municipal infrastructure projects

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to AED1,500.00 per month
