Perform rigging and lifting operations under the supervision of Rigging Supervisors.
Ensure compliance with
OPITO Rigging Level I
competency standards.
Inspect rigging equipment (slings, shackles, hooks, chains, ropes) before use.
Attach loads securely and guide lifting operations to prevent unsafe acts or conditions.
Follow lifting plans, risk assessments, and method statements.
Participate in toolbox talks, safety briefings, and emergency drills.
Report defective equipment, unsafe conditions, or incidents immediately.
Maintain rigging tools and equipment in good working condition.
Support offshore teams in safe and efficient execution of lifting tasks.
Minimum competency:
OPITO Rigging Level I
(mandatory).
Personnel must be
NOC approved

2–3 years of experience in rigging/lifting operations (offshore or industrial).
Knowledge of basic lifting techniques, load securing, and safety procedures.
Ability to work in offshore environments under supervision.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
