Rigger Helper

Flexigistic is hiring a Rigger Helpers who can support lifting, moving, and securing heavy equipment or cargo by assisting riggers with tools like cranes, hoists, and chains. They prepare rigging gear, clean equipment, load/unload materials, and ensure safety compliance under the direction of a senior rigger.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assisting in setting up rigging gear such as chain falls, hoists, and block and tackle.
• Assisting with packing, loading, and unloading heavy equipment or materials.
• Cleaning, inspecting, and maintaining slings, chains, ropes, and hooks for safety, often as mentioned in and.
• Following all safety protocols, maintaining a tidy work area, and reporting hazards.
• Assisting the rigger by handling lines, securing loads, and operating in accordance with hand signals.

Requirements:

• Physical Strength: Ability to lift heavy loads, climb, and work in challenging environments.
• Experience: Previous experience in construction, manufacturing, or logistics, often requiring at least 1 year in similar roles.
• Communication Skills: Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with team members.

Common Qualifications:

• 10th Standard, SSC/SSLC or High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read and write English.
