Job Summary:

The Rigger III will be responsible for preparing, inspecting, and operating rigging equipment used to move and position heavy materials and machinery. The role requires a strong understanding of rigging techniques, safety standards, and effective communication to ensure all lifting operations are carried out safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, assess, and prepare loads for lifting or moving.
• Set, align, level, and position heavy equipment and machinery as required.
• Select appropriate rigging gear such as slings, chains, hooks, shackles, pulleys, clamps, and beams based on load specifications.
• Assemble, secure, and adjust rigging systems ensuring stability and load balance.
• Conduct pre-use inspections of rigging tools and lifting accessories to ensure safety and functionality.
• Operate or assist in operating cranes, forklifts, hoists, or other lifting equipment under direction of the lifting supervisor or operator.
• Monitor and maintain rigging equipment to ensure it remains in good working condition.
• Follow all company and regulatory safety procedures, ensuring safe working environments at all times.
• Communicate effectively with rigging, crane, and construction teams to coordinate lifting operations.
• Dismantle rigging equipment after completion of operations and perform post-operation inspections.
• Report any hazards, malfunctions, or potential safety issues immediately.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certification: Valid TUV Certified Rigger III or equivalent approved certification (mandatory).
• Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of rigging experience in a similar industrial, construction, or oil & gas environment.
• Must have Transferable Iqama (for candidates in Saudi Arabia).
• Strong knowledge of rigging safety standards and lifting procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret load charts, rigging plans, and safety instructions.
• Physically fit and able to work in outdoor and industrial environments.
