Rigger -Level 2

Job Summary:

Responsible for safe rigging, lifting, and movement of loads using cranes and lifting equipment under supervision of Lifting Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform rigging activities for lifting operations
• Select and inspect slings, shackles, hooks, and lifting gear
• Assist in setting up cranes and lifting equipment
• Follow lifting plan and instructions from Lifting Supervisor
• Guide crane operators during lifting using hand signals or radio communication
• Ensure proper weight distribution and load balance
• Inspect rigging equipment before use
• Report any defects or unsafe conditions immediately
• Maintain safety compliance during all lifting activities

Requirements:

• Valid Rigger Level 2 certification
• Experience in construction / oil & gas lifting operations
• Good understanding of rigging techniques and safety procedures
• Ability to communicate clearly during lifting operations
• Physically fit for field work
