Rigging & Lifting Supervisor

Job Purpose: Plan and supervise all heavy lifting operations including 150T crane lifts for compressor removal and installation, ensuring safe execution in live refinery brownfield environment per international and SABIC lifting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and approve lift plans and method statements for heavy lifts
• Coordinate 150T and 50T crane mobilization, positioning, and setup
• Supervise rigging crews and certified riggers during lifting operations
• Verify lifting gear certification (slings, shackles, spreader beams)
• Conduct pre-lift briefing and risk assessment for all heavy lifts
• Define exclusion zones during lifting in live refinery
• Ensure compliance with refinery lifting standards and SIMOPS
• Coordinate with Heavy Lift Supervisor for execution
• Review crane load charts and ground bearing pressure calculations
• Verify crane operator and rigger certifications
• Maintain lifting records and inspection documentation
• Respond to lifting emergencies and implement rescue plans

Mandatory Requirements:

• Certified Lifting Supervisor (internationally recognized: LEEA, NCCCO, or equivalent)
• 10+ years heavy lifting experience with 5+ years in KSA oil & gas
• Heavy lift experience (100T+) in refinery environment
• Brownfield lifting in live plant experience (SABIC/Aramco)
• Crane operation and rigging expertise
• H2S, PTW, and confined space certification
• Transferable Iqama

Preferred:

• SASREF or SABIC refinery heavy lifting experience
• NCCCO Crane Operator certification
• Rigging engineering certification
• Experience with compressor and rotating equipment lifts

Pay: ﷼12,000.00 - ﷼18,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
