Job Description:
Role Objective:
To lead and manage all Right of Way (RoW) and Liaison activities for transmission line projects, ensuring timely acquisition of land, statutory clearances, and effective coordination with government and regulatory authorities to facilitate seamless project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Right of Way (RoW) Management

Identify and acquire RoW for transmission lines through direct engagement with landowners, local bodies, and government agencies serving Notices assessment of Crop and land compensation to effective land/towers owners.

Resolve disputes and grievances related to land acquisition and compensation.

Maintain accurate documentation of RoW agreements, compensation records, and legal approvals.
Liaison & Statutory Clearances

Liaise with Govt officials for DLVC & section 16 orders .

Ensure compliance with sections of the Electricity Act and other relevant regulations.

Coordinate with EPC contractors and internal teams for technical and legal documentation required for clearances.
Project Coordination & Support

Align RoW and clearance timelines with project execution schedules.

Support site teams during foundation, erection, and stringing activities by ensuring RoW availability.

Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports
Risk & Stakeholder Management

Identify risks in RoW acquisition and statutory processes; develop mitigation strategies.

Build and maintain relationships with local communities, panchayats, and government officials.

Represent the organization in public hearings, stakeholder meetings, and regulatory forums.
Qualifications & Experience:

Graduate in Law / Land Management / Others

10-15 years of experience in RoW acquisition and liaisoning, preferably in the power transmission sector.
