At Eni , we are looking for a Coach Tool Pusher for Rig Less Well Intervention Activities within Agiba Petroleum Co. in onshore Egypt . You will be responsible for assisting and advising rigless activity crews (pulling units, coil tubing units, slickline, electric line, PLT and other well activities performed without a rig) in proper operations planning and job execution, as well as supporting the improvement of crew safety awareness.

Your employment contract will be managed by Eni International Resources Ltd (EIRL).

Main responsibilities:

  • Support wells activities crews during rigless operations (pulling units, coil tubing units, slickline, electric line, PLT and other well activities performed without a rig), and support HSE engineers in planning operations in line with oil field best practices, with a strong focus on safety procedures (PTW – JSA/JRA – TBT).
  • Support AGIBA field engineers with electrical and mechanical isolations for surface rod pump units.
  • Support AGIBA field engineers with preparatory activities for surface rod pump units prior to well intervention.
  • Support AGIBA field engineers with the handover of wells from one department to another at the beginning and after intervention.
  • Assist in hazard identification and the deployment of suitable mitigation actions.
  • Supervise rigless activity crews (pulling units, coil tubing units, slickline, electric line, PLT and other well activities performed without a rig) during job execution (routine and non‑routine), improving personnel safety awareness and promoting the application of Stop Work Authority at all levels.
  • Support AGIBA management in better planning and optimising rigless well intervention activities.
  • Perform post‑job reviews with rigless activity crews to highlight areas for improvement.
  • Apply Stop Work Authority immediately if in doubt regarding the safety of personnel and/or equipment.
  • Investigate and report unscheduled events, identifying root causes and ensuring the application of remedial actions.
  • Follow the company’s safety management system procedures and instructions, supporting full field implementation and highlighting areas for improvement.
  • Oversee the performance of rigless well intervention crews by checking progress and providing guidance to ensure the completion of planned work.
  • Verify compliance with PCE requirements and ensure relevant certifications is in place.
  • In cooperation with service companies, prepare and review the Well Control Response Plan.
  • Conduct Well Control Response drills in the field.
  • Assist in the training of rigless activity crews, ensuring that personnel development plans are followed.
  • Assist in the evaluation of rigless activity crews by performing assessments of crew members and providing daily feedback.
  • Assist in the direct application of preventive and planned maintenance programmes for rigless equipment (CAT‑III, CAT‑IV and OEM requirements), with a particular focus on well activities, surface equipment and lifting gear.
  • Periodically inspect and verify asset status and working conditions, establishing and maintaining updated status records.
  • Manage and control warehouse stock and stock levels, with particular focus on critical spare parts and Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Be personally engaged in Health, Safety and Environment matters and comply with Egyptian legislation, Rig Contractor and AGIBA procedures, and international best practices.

Skills and experience required:

  • IWCF Level 4 Certificate for Well Intervention.
  • Extensive experience as Tool Pusher/rig less well intervention coordinator.
  • Fluent in English.
